Indian television actress and social media star Jannat Zubair Rahmani (Tu Aashiqui) has gained 1.2 million new followers on Instagram in May 2021.

Rahmani’s latest music video “Lehja“, sung by Abhi Dutt and featuring Mr Faisu aka Faisal Shaikh, has clocked over 33 million views on YouTube since its release on 2 April 2021. The teen sensation has been entertaining her fans by posting Instagram Reels of herself singing and performing to Hindi songs from Dubai where she is currently based out of.

The 19-year-old celebrity, who has also starred in 25 music videos so far, has 29.4 million followers on Instagram.

Singer and Indian Idol judging panel member Neha Kakkar has garnered 1.4 million followers on Instagram in May. Kakkar’s latest music video “Marjaneya“, composed by Rajat Nagpal and featuring Big Boss 14 winner Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla has garnered over 48 million views on YouTube since its release on 18 March.

The 32-year-old singer has 58 million followers on Instagram and is the 4th most-followed Indian on the platform.

Dancer and actress Nora Fatehi has gained over 1.5 million new followers on Instagram in the past month.

Fatehi’s latest music video, titled “Chhor Denge”, featuring Ehan Bhat (99 Songs), has amassed over 308 million views on YouTube since its release on 4 February. She was also a guest-judge in Season 3 of the Indian dance reality show Dance Deewane on Colors TV.

The talented self-taught dancer is awaiting the release of war-drama “Bhuj: The Pride of India”, produced by T-Series and starring Ajay Devgan (Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior), Sonakshi Sinha (Lootera) and Sanjay Dutt (Torbaaz), in which Fatehi is playing the role of a spy. Directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya in his feature film directorial debut, the espionage-thriller is scheduled to release on Disney + Hotstar on 15 August 2021.

Nora Fatehi currently has 28.5 million followers on Instagram.

Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez has accumulated over 1.5 million new followers on Instagram in May, taking her total tally to 51.5 million followers. The 35-year-old actress from Sri Lanka hit the 50 million follower mark in April 2021.

Fernandez is currently working on a number of films including Attack alongside John Abraham (Force), horror-comedy Bhoot Police with Saif Ali Khan (Jawaani Jaaneman), Arjun Kapoor (Sardar Ka Grandson) and Yami Gautam (Ginny Weds Sunny), Chennai Express director Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film Cirkus, Akshay Kumar (Laxmii)-starrer Bachchan Pandey and Ram Setu also starring Akshay Kumar and Nushrratt Bharuccha (Chhalaang).

Television actress and YouTube star Anushka Sen (Jhansi Ki Rani) has gained around 1.6 million new followers on Instagram in the past month.

The 18-year-old teen sensation’s latest music video Teri Aadat, sung by Abhi Dutt, alongside Siddharth Nigam (Aladdin – Naam Toh Suna Hoga) has amassed over 37 million views on YouTube since its release on 15 March 2021.

The actress will be playing the role of a tribal girl in upcoming adventure drama “Country of Blind”, written and directed by Rahat Kazmi. The long-delayed film also features Hina Khan (Hacked). Sen will also been seen in crime-thriller Swaang on Hungama Play streaming platform.

Anushka Sen currently has over 19.1 million followers on Instagram and has climbed up 15 places in 2021 to reach the 40th spot in the list of most-followed Indians on Instagram.
